| Customer Reviews: Too tinny November 21, 2009 Denise M. Don't like these, more expensive than the the Gumy ones, but the sound is tinny, too much top, too little bass. Don't find them very comfortable or that great at cutting ambient noise either. Prefer Gumy, better bass, nicer sound.
great sound and very comfortable September 23, 2008 Fred Wong (usa) these buds are soo comfortable and the sound is great! these buds have great clarity and bass. the bass is not as good as expensive ones but if i were to rate the bass it would be 3/4 points. the memory foam buds are very comfortable after you break them in after about an hour of use. people complain they are too big but u just have to READ the instructions and compress them to a smaller size then let them expand in your ears. i rate these buds 5/5 stars
Pretty low quality sound, and "no" it's not just the fit. December 31, 2007 S. Stanley (Denver, CO USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I know that many people have rated this highly, but I just tried a pair for my brother. I have many types of ear buds, including Shure (E2c), Sony (EX51LP), Apple basic ones, Koss (KEB24), JVC gummy's, etc. These sound the worst. It is not simply a matter of fit. They have very poor bass response and mushy middle. These have the poorest sound of any of the models I have tried. Ironically, the cheap Koss model above has among the best sound, IF you get the rubber parts fitting your ears just right. Wish these were better since I've paid 20 bucks for them, and won't likely return them, but they are not very good. They are also among the least comfortable ones I've tried.
Acceptale July 30, 2007 John R. Boyd (California, MD United States) Comes with two sets of ear buds, but about the same size. Both too large for my ears. Sound quality is about average. Wires have remained kinked from packaging and have never straightened out. Would not purchase again.
Super low-cost ear-buds May 26, 2007 J. Henson (SC) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I've been through at least 8 sets of earphones or ear-buds for several MP3 or CD players. Since I wear them at work everyday and other times I tend to be pretty hard on them. With such a low price on these compared to a number of others, I was a little apprehensive about the quality, but not only can I hear music more clearly than the manufacturer's supplied ear-buds for my current MP3 player, these are very comfortable, soft and help reduce ambient noise. They may not satisfy everyone, but they have turned out to be the best I've ever had. I'm glad I bought 2 sets at the low price.
